Tis the Season

Its the most wonderful time of the year.Tis the season to dress up even more. And for some reason am loving black this season. Usually I would opt for a jumpsuit over a romper, but this black number from missguided peace + love collection is everything. This satin romper features a long sleeve which I rolled up because I think its more flattering that way;  the deep neck plunge line add that classy sexy look. I paired it with these platform heels from gojane which are very comfortable by the way.

Black on Black

There is something about throwing on a jacket or coat that just transform an outfit. This Jacket from missguided has got to be one of my favorite accessory to do just that. Paired with this little black dress from gojane and gold heels was the fit to the perfect dinner date.

POP OF COLOR???

Slot machines peaking in the backgound, Yeaaahh Vegas? no not quite. Just this pretty cool Casino in Kingston JM Ha! Any how lets talk about these red culottes from missguided, so chic and comfy, I dressed them down with these gold leather flats  from local designer Bridget sandals and nude bardot top from missguided of course. I am currently loving this online store, they have all the latest trends and more at I would say reasonable prices.

Fall Inspired

Fall is in the air, but since its summer all the time in the caribbean, I taught I'd create a fall inspired look without the heat ha! And why not add a pop of color. I pair this  jacket from missguided with a deep plunge bodysuit and plain denim and red strappy heels.

DIY CHOKER

The choker trend has become increasingly popular in urban fashion, from metallic to fabric and even beads you can get creative with almost anything. If you are looking to get creative and not spend a dime you can use old clothing and make them yourself. Ever since kim k rocked the denim choker we have seen a number of celebrities and fashionista sporting this accessory. For the denim choker I cut an old jeans and the black choker I customised from a old headband. Heres how to get creative and rock DIY chocker.
1). You need old clothing, a pair of scissor, pins, buttons, needle and threads.
2). You can use solids or prints. Cut them along a straight line, u can go thin or thick based on your preference.
3). Measure around your neck and fit to your comfort leave.
4). Slit one end of the material and sew a button on the next to accommodate for buttoning. A pin can be used as well, which works well for the jeans choker.
5) Another option to use minus the pins and buttons, is to cut the material long enough so that you can tie a bow at the back. The bow add a cute look as well.

Hope these tip sparks some creative ideas on how to get this glam look at no cost with your own touch!

WHITE X GOLD

As much as it is said that every girl needs a little black dress, I think everygirl needs a white pants.  I got these wide leg pants from gojane topped off with a white bodysuit from choies, with gold shoes and gold choker. I'll have some DIY chokers styles coming up in my next post so stay tuned.

GIRLY GIRLY

You just cant go wrong when you pair yellow and red it just always works. Summer is all about brights and more brights and pairing  solid bright colors together is a win win this season. So go crazy..well not too crazy ha!. This romper I got from fashionnova and I love the lace details it makes me feel super girly.

PRINTS AND CURLS

So I know I mention before that jumpsuits have been one of my fav apparel for this season, but here we go again ha!.  I topped it off with nude heals and big hair..and boy am I loving this hair; it come in two tones black at the roots and brown at the ends and love how light it is. This outfit can also work great for day time meet up with your girls or brunch with bae by dressing it down with flat or sandals.

MIX AND MATCH

Sneakers aren't the first thing that comes to mind when u decide to put on a dress. But I decided to do a little mix and match today 'side note' these converse are so comfortable...added a cap and denim jacket walla I came up with the boy chic look. A simple look thats a little different but works, break the rules sometime :)

CLASSIC WITH NUDES

Since I got my hair done in that classic short curl bob style. I decided to go with the outfit to match, this slant cut skirt I got from romwe did the trick to get that modern classic if I may call it so look.

I AM BACK

Its offical, I am back from a break from a longggg break. Kicking it off with stripes, I have been loving stripes lately not to mention jumpsuits. These are really great for the season dressed u or down. See previous post for front details.
