DENIM ON DENIM + ROUND 2 OF ISLAND TREKKING

Timeless and tenacious are my definition of Denims; when all trends go in and out the denim always seem to stick around. And of course it gets tweaked here and there but you can always count on good old denim which is a staple item in almost everyone's closet. Now to the idea of denim on denim, I personally was not a fan of this combo as I found it to be a bit overwhelming. But after trying it twice I found that it's a workable combination after all. Here I paired  soft denim shirt with ripped denim shorts from gojane along with my go to converse sneakers which is perfect for this type of activity.
Moving on to the second stop of my Island rendezvous is Konoko falls. If you are looking to unwind  with nature, this is the place for you. From indigenous birds, botanical gardens to beautiful cascading waterfall they pretty much have these covered. I will definitely be going back. Round 3 coming up ☺
Sidenote for anyone deciding to visit without a guide and you are using GPS it will take you on road that is no longer used as the entrance. You will need to stop and ask for directions once you're in Ochi Town.

ISLAND STRUTTING IN BOYFRIEND JEANS

So the great thing about the tropics as we all know is,the warm weather all year round. I went for a casual look for this day trek to the town of Port Royal in Kingston, Jamaica. Boyfriend jeans are becoming a favorite piece of mine especially since it is so comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I love versatile pieces so that's a plus for me and  this kimono from choies epitomizes that tropical look; the hat and sandals I think tops off the outfit. Often times we do not take the time out to appreciate our own space and environment and I'm sure most of us can attest to this. With that said, I decided that I will be taking a tour of my Island and will be posting all the cool tips on where to go and what to do when in Jamaica. Hop in :) .......SP♥

ISPY GLAMBAG

Happy 2017 Luv's☺.
A friend of mine recently introduced me to a Beauty subscription page called IPSY. They send you sample size products ranging from Makeup, Skincare to Hair products. Each month they display a range of products from which they randomly choose (5) to send in your Glambag based on certain description and preference you provide when you signed up. It cost $10usd per month and you can unsubscribe anytime.I taught I'd share some the products I received in my December Glambag. The cool thing about this is that it gives you an opportunity to test out a variety of popular product both high end and drug store. If you are a make up lover like me, this helps to choose the  products that work for you and the ones that don't. There are several time that I have wasted purchase on full size products that I end up giving away or hoarding because I didn't have the option to test them first. So IPSY is definitely worth a try and besides a girl can never have too much beauty products.
